Azeem Siddiqui
During my Master’s thesis at MorphoPHEN, I focused on characterizing astroglial and microglial populations in the central nervous system of a mouse model with Megalencephalic Leukodystrophy with Subcortical Cysts (MLC), an ultra-rare disorder. This research was conducted at Dr. Assumpció Bosch’s lab at the Institute of Neuroscience (INc), where the primary focus is on gene therapy for central nervous system diseases, as part of the TherCNS project at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.Through the rigorous mobility program, particularly at the University of Naples Federico II, I developed a keen interest in cancer drug delivery and multimodal bioimaging, specifically μCT-FMT, after participating in practical sessions at CEINGE Biotecnologie Avanzate Franco Salvatore Scarl. Currently, I am a Lyon Excellence Candidate at the Cancer Research Center of Lyon (CRCL), University of Lyon, France. I am eager to integrate the knowledge gained from MorphoPHEN to explore innovative approaches in the development of pre-clinical cancer therapeutics
Joan Faus Camarena
Hello! I’m Joan Faus-Camarena, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. I chose the MorphoPHEN program because it aligns perfectly with my goal of pursuing translational research while also equipping me with the computational tools needed to effectively utilize the wealth of preclinical information already available.
