Anastasios Delopoulos is a Professor of Multimedia Systems in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is the director of the Information Processing Laboratory and the head of the Multimedia Understanding Group (mug.ee.auth.gr). His research lies in the areas of signal and image processing, machine learning and computer vision. He has participated in 21 European and National R&D projects related to application of research outcomes to the entertainment, culture and health sectors.
