Jesús Ruberte is Full Professor of Animal Anatomy at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He is the coordinator of the MorphoPHEN project, an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master on mouse morphological phenotyping. Previously, he has been the coordinator of PATHBIO (Precision Pathobiology for Disease Models) a Knowledge Alliances Erasmus+ project, which was first to develop at European level a strong educational program for mouse pathobiology.

Professor Ruberte is principal investigator of many research projects and has widely published in biomedicine international journals. He is also the author of several books on mouse morphological phenotyping. Professor Ruberte is an active member of the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) and the European Research Infrastructure for Modelling Human Diseases (INFRAFRONTIER).
