Luísa Mendes Jorge, PhD, DVM, is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FMV)-University of Lisbon, Portugal and Researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Animal Health (CIISA/FMV) and at the Associate Laboratory for Animal and Veterinary Sciences (AL4AnimalS). She has a degree in Veterinary Medicine, and obtained her PhD in Veterinary Sciences (Morphology speciality) in 2009. She is responsible for the coordination of several national and international research and pedagogical projects, and participates in international courses on mouse anatomy since 2014.
