Navarro

Marc Navarro is Associate Professor in Anatomy and Embryology at the Veterinary School of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), with over twenty years of experience. As a teacher and coordinator, he participates in the veterinary degree and masters. He holds a PhD in Veterinary Medicine about experimental Teratology doing part of his research in Toulouse. After a postdoctoral stay at The Netherlands, he has participated in different competitive research projects. The research has been carried out at the Veterinary School and mainly, as a member of the Phenotyping Platform at the CBATEG (Center for Animal Biotechnology and Gene Therapy).

Dr. Navarro has widely published in numerous international journals and is the author of several books on Anatomy of different animal species. The most important contribution is as a co-author of the book “Morphological Mouse Phenotyping, Anatomy, Histology and Imaging”. Dr. Navarro has participated actively in numerous courses and seminars about Mouse Morphology, and most recently, in the Erasmus+Knowledge Alliance project- PATHBIO (Precision Pathobiology for Disease Models) as a teacher.
