Marcello Mancini is Director of the Institute Biostructure and Bioimaging of the Italian National Research Council, Naples. The main research interest is the development of new tools for prevention, diagnosis, and more targeted therapies. He has expertise in the field of preclinical imaging to investigate models of diseases in animals (ultrasound, CT, MRI, Optical Imaging, PET/SPECT).
